At the age of nine, during the winter revival of Bardwell Baptist Church, he came to grips with the fact that he was a sinner in need of a savior. After high school, Brad attended Union University and had the opportunity to serve at Calvary Baptist Church as Youth Minister/Director of Urban Outreach as he double majored in Christian Ministry and Psychology. From there he attended Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and completed a Masters of Divinity in Biblical Counseling and a Masters of Theology in Applied Theology; writing his Thesis on Interpretative Fallacies in Evangelical Christian Counseling to examine how faithfully the Scriptures were interpreted by Christian Counselors.
